ČEZ Magyarország (Hungary) plays a significant role in the Hungarian electricity trade. The company is a member of the Czech ČEZ Group, an internationally operating group of companies which ranks among the top ten largest European companies on power markets, both according to the number of its customers and installed capacities. The main activity of the ČEZ Group is the production and sale of electricity, however ČEZ Group in some countries also distributes electricity. Apart from that ČEZ also deals in telecommunications, informatics, nuclear research, planning, construction and maintenance of energy facilities, mining raw materials, and processing energy by-products.
ČEZ Hungary first contracted Navitasoft in Q4 2018 to incrementally take over the development of its IT system (incl.: customer portal). Based on this successful collaboration, ČEZ Hungary entrusted Navitasoft to support its entire IT infrastructure in 2019.
